The first hole opens with a challenging tee shot, where two well placed bunkers patrol either side of the fairway. But like many of the holes at Hacienda del Alamo, the landing areas are generous and players are unlikely to get into real trouble off the tee.
There are several holes where water comes into play especially on the third, tenth and twelfth with intimidating lakes, which have to be navigated.
The Hacienda del Alamo Golf Club Academy has qualified professional instructors to help you learn to play, or simply perfect your swing. The instructors use high-tech support for swing analysis, using several digital video cameras to break down your swing and help you to make improvements.
