Torremirona Golf Course lies at the centre of a plain giving some splendid views over the foothills of the Pyrenees, as illustrated by four famous local artists. Torremirona Golf Resort is situated on the North part of the Costa Brava where the landscape is green and leafy. Peaceful place but in very short distance to activities: 20mins to the nice Costa Brava coves, beaches and the culture, the fabulous gastronomy of the area is known around Europe.
It is not a wide course, but big hitters will enjoy two demanding par 4s in particular. It also has a few surprises in store when shots call for extra concentration, like at the 10th hole, a par 3 with water to the left, or the 15th, another par 3 with an elevated green.
This is a versatile course in that skilled players have the chance to attack the pin if they play straight, while the higher handicapper golfer has a number of options open to him or her to get around the course without any excessive risk taking.
