An unforgettable golfing experience... round after round
The 18-hole, par 72, 6.623 meter golf course at Golden Eagle was designed by Rocky Roquemore and opened in 1994. It is widely acknowledged as one of the most challenging courses in Portugal and enjoys a backdrop of the beautiful and natural scenery of the estate.
The Rocky Roquemore course covers 90 hectares of the Golden Eagle Resort. It is hailed as one of his most emblematic golf courses outside his native USA.
The diversity of holes with numerous bunkers protecting both fairways and greens and strategically located lakes makes golfing here an unforgettable experience.
The second championship standard course is being designed by Bernhard Langer in association with European Golf Design. It is the first Bernhard Langer Signature Course in Portugal and with its magnificent layout will undoubtedly become a very well known “must play” golf course.
Some of the most prestigious tournaments in the international golfing calendar are expected at Golden Eagle. Viewers can then see and appreciate the swing of famous players.
A Location like no other
Golden Eagle resort is beautifully located within the Silver Coast region, one of the most developed regions of the country with famous treasures of traditional art, and just over half an hour from Lisbon.
The medieval town of Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha museums and art, through the grandeur of Santarém and the Berlengas Natural Reserve, Silver Coast has much to discover and visit.
This region is also famous for its mild climate and excellent gastronomy, very much influenced by the sea as well as the Oeste Route of the Vine and Wine, where you will find several wineries on which the local wines can be tasted and enjoyed.
