The architect, Arquitecto, has laid out this Belas over open, rolling terrain and the course has an excellent future for holding championship events.
There are five lakes to negotiate at Belas, and a loop of holes surrounding a small nature reserve. The second par 3 is very similar to the 13th hole at Augusta. The 18th hole is a tough par 4 slight dog leg from left to right. The tee shot needs to be aimed at the centre of the lake to avoid the bunker on the left.
