Margaux Golf Course

This is a truly professional course that opened on the 1st of January 2006, with undulations and islets over 45 hectares, surrounding the buildings, facing the islands dotted on the river Gironde estuary and in the immediate vicinity of the prestigious Margaux vineyard.

In preserved natural and gentle greenery, enthusiasts of the small white ball will have to hone their irons so as not to succumb to the charms of the countryside rolling out before them. The more professional players will appreciate the par 3 of 150 meters, or the 12th green on an islet defended by the Gironde. Remember to take care when finishing the course at the 18th hole with a risky shot over the large lake designed at the heart of the course.

For practice, a 21 tee driving range has been provided with in addition, a putting green, a chipping green and a practice bunker. Together with a pro-shop and a fine brassiere with terrace to enjoy the scenery in peace and calm. Olivier Dongradi has designed the Margaux golf course, the specialist architect best known for building those of Mont-Griffon and Chateau d' Augerville in Paris or Maison Blanche in Geneva.
