The renowned Brabazon course is a remarkable parkland course. It is the only course to host The Ryder Cup four times.
The Brabazon Course was designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis in 1977, and with its Ryder Cup connections, it is on every golfer’s must play list.
The course is set up for the amateurs, with the rough kept cropped, but play your game from the "Pro tees" and high handicappers will suffer.
Two holes here have built the courses excellent reputation:-
The 10th, a drivable par 4 from the front tees but which most amateurs try to reach from the back.
The 18th, a remarkable high-risk par 4 where the bogey is generally greeted with glee.
The Brabazon has nicely matured alongside a luxury hotel, The Belfry, and its excellent location provides a gateway to some of England’s finest attractions.
